Job Description

Job Function –

Performs various customer service and administrative tasks for Consumer Loan Servicing which includes Collections, Credit card, and Consumer Loan Servicing.


Job Responsibilities –

• Ensures the accurate and timely processing of general maintenance, monetary and non-monetary.
• Answers all questions from branches regarding customer accounts.
• Maintains acceptable compliance timeline for all correspondence.
• Assists in maintaining loan account balances in accordance with Accounting requests.
• Assists in scanning documentation into system for bank wide access.
• Performs client services function, answering calls timely and responding to all correspondence and client inquiries sent to Consumer Loan Servicing email.
• Assists in releasing auto titles for out of state and total loss requests.
• Performs other administrative duties such as changing customer addresses, inputting ACH payments, and working with insurance companies to produce letters of guarantee.
• Assist Collections in processing approved adjustments to loan balances.
• Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.


Education and Related Experience –

• 1+ years of banking/financial services experience preferred
• Similar experience in another industry will be considered
• High School diploma or equivalent required


Skills and Abilities –

• Good oral, written, and human relations skills required
• Good attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines and deal tactfully with customers required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel) required.


Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements –

• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.
• Ability to read and interpret a document.
• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a financial institution preferred
• High School diploma or equivalency required
• Good oral, written, and human relations skills required
• Good attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines and deal tactfully with customers required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel) required.
