Job Description

Performs daily tasks and functions to ensure timely and accurate support for branch personnel and customer service inquiries. Responsibilities also include adherence to various federal regulations by monitoring account activities and transactions. Provides system / application support to assist branch associates researching various issues that may arise.

• Prints, verifies, and mails CD and IRA interest checks to customers.
• Performs the daily balancing and reconciliation of previous day teller transactions to the general ledger. Instructs branch personnel on how to correct any outages.
• Performs the daily Regulation CC hold review to ensure compliance.
• Provides telephone and email support to all branch personnel and their inquiries.
• Actively monitors the departments email box and responds with answers / resolutions within the designated service level agreement parameters.
• Reconciles and maintains balance logs for all ATM’s, to include ordering currency and monitoring cash dispensed so there is an adequate amount of currency at all times.
• Performs various account maintenance transactions to include but not limited to: address changes, interest rate adjustments, fee waivers etc.
• In compliance with Regulation E, performs all the required procedures to process debit card disputes and compromised debit cards.
• Monitors and reconciles the general ledger used for processing debit card disputes.
• Prints and prepares various time sensitive customer communication notifications such as; CD renewals, change of address confirmations, deposit correction notices, wire transfer confirmation etc. for mailing each day.
• Processes all return mail for the bank, to include account maintenance to prevent future mailings, along with maintaining a log of return mail by customer name.
• Verifies all new retail/consumer account paperwork/documentation for accuracy, completion, and CIP approval.
• Scans and indexes all retail/consumer new account documentation into the banks image record retention application.
• Maintains reports of customer's Quali-file score daily in core system.

Performs other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
• Provides back-up support for the online banking platform by assisting customers via the phone and or email inquiries.
• Performs the tasks and research associated with processing the daily un-posted checking and savings transactions.
• Reviews the daily ATM image deposit reports to ensure all transactions posted correctly.
• Reviews the daily ACH files to ensure they are valid.
• Reviews and approves deposits made through the mobile deposit platform.

Skills and Abilities
• Thorough understanding of Regulation CC
• Thorough understanding of Regulation E
• Familiarity with NACHA rules and regulations
• Thorough understanding of Check 21 regulations
• Ability to use a Windows based PC and MS Office Software
• Experience with or the ability to learn the bank’s core applications and various PC applications
• Thorough understanding of the deposit operations functions, policies, and procedures
• Thorough understanding of deposit related posting functions and loan payment posting functions
• Ability to gather data to assist assigned area in resolving deposit related issues
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate a keyboard is required, to perform the essential job functions.
• Ability to read and interpret a document.
• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds, if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in bank or branch operations.
• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Associates degree preferred.
